As a transgender woman, business owner, and professional I can honestly say The Mix Rocks! Owners are awesome, staff is phenomenal, and value for the dollar is excellent. Very gender friendly place in general and very well run. Overall The Mix is one of the best gender friendly bars in the country!

Very nice spot to hang out at. The owners are so people friendly. Their full of energy and that always makes things fun. I like the fact that the drinks are so strong I don't have to drink as many to feel good.....:)

I give The Mix 5 stars cause I LOVE my 2 favorite bar owners, Brock and Jonathan...especially Jonathan! Every time I go in there, I feel right at home, greeted by one of the owners with a hug and a kiss:-) I have quickly became new friends with lots of the regulars in there and feel like a kid on the playground in there, haha:-) I know what some of you are referring to as far as the gal bartendar...she seems a little moody at times but give her a chance, she is actually a very nice gal! Maybe she just doesn't seem so happy and full of life when she is standing next to Jonathan who is always happy and high on life, haha:-) Great place for drinks, friendly service, karaoke, pool...and people watching, haha...if you go there, you probably know what I mean by that! Good works boys! Awesome place with a cool vibe!

I came here by accident one time when I was trying to go to karaoke at Puget Sound Pizza. Same cross streets, same building! I saw the karaoke inside and stepped in - and boy am I glad I did! The crowd was so much more down to earth and friendly than PSP and I had such a great time. What a great place!

The Mix seems to be a great addition to downtown. I hate to say it, but it brings some class compared to the other couple comparable bars in that are here in Tacoma. The crowd seems to be very mixed and welcoming.

The Mix is definitely a nice place to sit down and have some good drinks while you visit with friends. I, unfortunately, have visited only a handful of times but am always greeted as if I am one of their favorite regulars. Everyone, from the staff to the patronage, is friendly and the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. It's the perfect place to wind down

Ummm, can I say that this bar is definatly the best gay bar in tacoma!!! If your around the stone you might as well go right up the road to the place that is worth your business. The Mix has amazing drinks, amazing staff, and a great location. Plus, NO COVER!!!! If your looking for a fun place to hangout especially on the weekends don't hesitate going to the mix, you'll probably see me there!!!!

I can't say enough about how much I love this bar. The owners are kind and engaging and hire great staff. I am not entirely sure if it's trickle down from the owners being so great and setting the tone or what, but when I go there people are kind and just down to have fun. There's always a good time to be had there on the weekends, with karaoke, drinks, and lots of friendly people. I love this bar. It's my favorite.

The mix is a very fun and welcoming bar. There are all types of people there. Very strong drinks. Bar is very clean and well taken care of. Place gets pretty crowded on the weekends and steady on the weekdays. Pool table and Karaoke ...

Since this bar changed to the Mix, its one of my favorite places to go. The owners and staff are SO nice and welcoming. The first time I came to the bar one of the owners sat on my lap to take my drink order, it was hysterical! Its a very welcoming place for all kinds of people and the crowd watching is great. The drinks are strong- almost strong enough to make me want to do karaoke- but not quite. I just watch.
